30 Before 31

I will be 31 on in just under a year so I thought I would make a list of 30 things that I would love to accomplish before my birthday.

1. Blog at least once a month for the next year.

2. Take more photos of myself.

3. Photograph the world around me( keep my camera with me every where I go you never know what you will see).

4. Spend an entire day in bed with Jeremy watching movies all day.

5. Go to the Fox Theater.

6. Go to a concert.

7. Take 2 days off work and go somewhere without any plans( a rode trip ).

8. Take a trip to Chicago.

10. Spend more time in my garden.

11. Get caught up on my scrapbooking.

12. Eat at a new resturant.

13. Try a new food.

14. Get a tatoo.

15. Send out cards to 12 family members just because.

16. Create one new meal a day for an entire month.

17. Finish my livingroom( molding, new enterainment center, and a new computer desk).

18. Declutter our bedroom

19. Perform a Random Act of Kindness.

20. Donate to a local animal shelter.

21. Step ouside of my comfort zone and do something new.

22. Buy a new dress and have a night on the town with Jeremy.

23. Finish decorating my studio.

24. Create one new piece of jewelry everyday for a month.

25. Watch old movies.

26. Go to Pottery Hallow.

27. Go without caffine for one month.

28. Go on a spending ban for one month an only buy the essentials.

29. Create one card a day for one month.

30. Donate my time for a good cause.

Alright now lets see how many of these I can accomplish before May 30, 2012

Paper Crafts

above is my corner bookmark that I made today. It was quite easy to make I used a tutorial from splitcoaststampers website, the tutorial was very easy to follow.

This is a shadow box that I made using my cricut, the frame was purchased but I added all of the elements. It is 3-d, the tree and bridge are popped up, you cant really see that here though, I am going to make matching one so that I can put them in my living room as this is the theme that I have used in that room.

Here are a few paper crafts that I have been working on.

Stay tuned for photos of my studio, I am currently working on getting it better organized, I can wait to get it finished. As of right now it is functional but it isnt exactly the way that I want it.

Been Mia

Sorry I have been MIA lately work was busy this weekend and I havent been creating, but I am off for a few days now so I will have plenty of time to create. I think this week I am going to share some of my scrapbook layouts with you. I am so proud of myself I finished my 2009 album finally and a good ways into my 2010 album. I would like to finish my 2010 album by june, keeping my fingers crossed that I can accomplish that.

Polymer Clay

Abstract Wire pendants

I have a few abstract wire pendants that I would like to share with you all today. I have always enjoyed working with wire but with these last pendants I wanted to try something new so I started combining copper and silver. I think that the 2 metals really compliment one another.Stay tuned for my polymer clay pendants and earrings, I have been working on these as well.

New Piece

I wanted to share this piece with everyone. It took me 2 days to complete, but it turned out exactly the way I envisioned.

Getting Started

I love to create all things pretty, so I want to create a place for me to do that along with my best friend. Dawn and I both dabble in many crafts but our main craft is jewelry making. We both spend much of our spare time creating and getting ready for craft shows.
Through out this blog we will keep all of our followers up to date on shows that we will be attending along with updates on new listings on our etsy site. I will also be posting pictures of our creations.
Craft show season is almost upon us so we will be very busy creating to get ready for those shows. I cant wait to share a few new jewelry lines that I am going to debut at our first show of the season in June.
